The Ninth Mathematics of Networks meeting will be held on 18th June 2010 at the University of St Andrews. Thanks to Saleem Bhatti and Mirco Musolesi for acting as hosts on this occasion. The conference is held in cooperation with SICSA. This meeting has the theme “the Mathematics of Mobile Networks” and aproximately half the talks will be on this theme but all topics about the mathematics of networks are of interest. The meeting has been arranged to follow Modelling and Analysis of Networked and Distributed Systems in Stirling on 17th June 2010. If you wish to advertise MoN9 in your department you can download a flyer. The meeting will be in “Physics Theatre A” in the School of Physics & Astronomy. Maps of how to get to the campus and the campus itself are available here.
This informal series of meetings gives researchers a forum to present new work which uses mathematics to investigate networks. The meetings encourage interdisciplinary communications and talks have been from many fields including computer networks, road networks, economic networks and biological networks.
If you would like to attend or present at a meeting or be added to the list of contactees then please email richard@richardclegg.org or . There is also a mailing list for people who wish to keep abreast of these meetings and developments in the Mathematics of Networks.
